I think this would be really amazing in color, with the mountains and the greenery there. I also think a slightin glower POV would help guide the eye along the photo better, right now I kind of get stuck looking down at the track.

From a technical standpoint, this is a terrific effort - crisp, sharp with everything detail well controlled and captured. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer. Sometimes an image, even one as technically competant as this one is, is just an image. A worthy entry into the challenge and directly related to the challenge subject. A good effort falling short in the artistic sense.

I like this, but think it would have a more timeless look without the two guys in modern clothes.They also grab my eye, when my gaze would otherwise be led up to those great mountains.

I would have liked this shot lower to the ground and without people, but since I was not there I will never know if it was possible.
