good crispness and detail, but for me the composition pushed it down, both because the swoop of the fender was lost and the square box in the foreground was cut in half. Gave you a 5 on the technicals (and I like the glare/reflections, think they added to the image). |

The use of a polarizing filter would have helped to remove the glare and would have made the colors richer. |

When it comes to trains and railroads I really don't like macro...come on people there so much more to be seen from them |

A great concept and a near perfect capture. The lighting could have been a little softer, but as it is, it works well. Both a technical and artistic success, this should placec high for it's technical merit and artistic impact. Little minor issues are over shadowed by the reflections on the paint which add a nice little touch. A good solid entry into the challenge. |

Not close enough and too close all at the same time. Not close enough to be a great macro shot, but not inclusive enough to give us a sense of what we're looking at imho. Great red, though. |
