Greetings from the critique club!
Interesting idea for this challenge. Not sure how the water droplets were intended to enhance the picture. (Not saying that they don't its just that I don't see it..)
Good lighting and exposure for this shot. Focus is bang on as well. Composition is interesting but it seems like there's something missing. Perhaps if they were all lined up evently or perhaps in an interesting arrangement. (e.g. created a diaganol line or a wave perhaps?)
Overall a pretty decent shot. |

a more consistent drop pattern would have had a more unique effect |

Nice shot here. Very interesting with the water droplets. Too bad you couldn't get one of the center pencils to get a larger drop to balance things out just a bit more. However, nicely done. |

Nice shot, i'm having a hard time with the drops I don't if one drop only or that they all have the same drop if you know what I mean. JMO |

A very clever look at crayons and colored pencils - the image meets the subject matter dead on with subtle, yet detailed effect. A terrific demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge in a very unusual way. Should be a sure bet to win a ribbon or place high as a top twenty image. A couple of minor detail problems not worth mentioning because they don't appear until you really get a critical eye and examine the image closely. Well done. |
