I love the line of the kitty, the coffee cup is a great addition to the image. Sweet!
Oh, and Judy's verse is PURRRFECT!!

Blur is so underrated. Tack sharp certainly has its place but the subtle curve of her body and the variation in tone is remarkably artful.
the cat sat on the table
soaking in the sun
wishing that the coffee cup
was filled with his style yum

Oh, another cat. Great perspective from the backside though! This emphasizes the independant feline attitude the cats I know have. that lensbaby thingie sure seems to do a good job. |

I've been reading up on "best practices" for zp, and they say hard/harshly lighted images are the hardest to manage. Like this one, with the harsh sun - I still think they come out beautifully, but I've found it forces you to live with the low contrast, when otherwise you might be tempted to "fix" it - if you try to boost contrast it become difficult to manage detail in the extremes. I've got a kitty zone plate that looks just like this one!
I like that he's using the espresso machine as a window seat - I mean, that's why you bought it, right? |
