 It was intermittent rain sprinkles. I think that added to the misty feeling of the photograph. I waited a long time for a train. I think getting a bright yellow train at the beginning of the far off curve would have been a much welcome addition to the photo. I don;t expect without a train to get into the 6s with this but I hope to stay in the 5s. Hopefully the title and the shallowness of the zoom will help my score.

I increased the contrast, and upped the greens. Scaled for DPC and un sharpened a little.

From a technical standpoint, this is a terrific effort - crisp, sharp with everything detail well controlled and captured. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer because the over busy background detracts from the subject. Sometimes an image, even one technically competant. A worthy entry into the challenge and directly related to the challenge subject. A good effort falling short in the artistic sense.

B&W would have been better here IMO.

Great composition, I love the curves along the tracks here, it's different than a lot of takes in this challenge and it's nice to see something new.

A higher point of view is needed here,would have made the -S- curve more dramatic.
