| Richly detailed with incredible detail, the soft lighting worked well in this image. Unfortunately, the lighting isn't creative in any sense. Having said that, it is a unbelievable demonstration of HOW to light an image rather than a creative use of lighting. That's what makes this image so very hard to properly evaluate and rate - it's perfect in terms of technical and artistic success, but the lighting is unknown and not particularly special in the sense of being "creative". Benefit of the doubt to the author - well done. |
