I like the tight crop -- its a bit different for this challenge, and worked well, particularly with the shallow DOF you used. My only nit is the headlamp cut down the middle. Shows a nice bit of detail of your train, and colors and sharpness are spot on. |

Hey Max!!! Nice shot... deserved a better score, but I like your unique composition on it. You brought out a lot of colour on the train considering the grey skies.
Looking forward to the next time we can all shoot together :) I will try to actually take some shots then :) |

To be honest, I couldn't figure out which photo was yours during voting. I thought this might be the one but I wasn't sure. So you got a 7 from me. :) This is a great shot Max. |

From a technical standpoint, this is a terrific effort - crisp, sharp with everything detail well controlled and captured. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer. Sometimes an image, even one as technically competant as this one is, is just an image. A worthy entry into the challenge and directly related to the challenge subject. A good effort falling short in the artistic sense. |

The fire-engine red of this is really nice. I think the crop is a little to tight for my tastes. |
