Originally posted by Teafran: Crisp and sharp which is a major plus - a good grayscale. Lots of details, good angle which shows off the linear nature of the times and roof, but keeping the curving sweep into the distance. The author took time to do the best job in difficult lighting as the highlights are right on the edge of being over done. Unfortunately, it could have used some more "action" and if the author had taken a little more time to catch a sense of speed with the oncoming train, along with reducing the foreground tile flares, it would have been perfect. Well done. |
Thank you for the detailed comment...much appreciated!
What kills me is it was a toss up between two shots. The other (which I was leaning towards) had more of the train coming through (good action) but I had trouble uploading it.
Thanks again |

While I really like the leading lines I think (IMO only)that a slightly different angle to highlight the station sign would've made this a ribbon contender. 7 |

wish that break in the wall wasn't there. It's kind of distracting. |

It's a nice shot, I like the lines how they draw your eye to the center of the photo. I don't know if more of the train would have helped it or hurt. |

Very interesting pic, works well in the black and white with the lines the way they are. |
