| A difficult shot to pull of in the best of circumstances, this is a creative use of lighting, unfortunately it falls just short of being really effective. The overdone flash created a cartoonish effect on the palm and detracts from the rather dramatic sky. A softer flash, perhaps through a gause screen or a light reducer would have been a better choice. A good solid effort though and it clearly meets the challenge criteria. |

| Flash hurts, very flat, subject is nothing to wow. Sky is nice though. |

| I think this would be nicer if the tree wasn't so overly lit, needs a bit more contrast to give it some depth. |

| seem like there is a litte bit of glare mixed in with the clouds inthe center and on lower left side. Cool image! |
