 My thinking is that without the light (which did cast these shadows on the leaves), how could you see the shapes of the beads of water? Oh well...

Wow... this is so beautiful. Understated and yet powerful, and can't say why, but it's quite evocative. An image to be so proud of taking.

More an image of lighting than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. It might have been a better approach to find a subject and then use the lighting to create the image rather than of the light itself.
