Used Topaz Adjust "portrait drama" setting (adds lots of local contrast, balances exposure), then converted to B&W using Nik Silver Efex. Cropped and straightened. The light in the early evenings in April is simply amazing here.

Your b/w work is getting better and better. I'll be giving a try to this idea of using Topaz before the b/w conversion.

The composition and tonal range are spot on, Deb. This looks like something you'd see in a professional expose of city life. This is REALLY good.
