I was testing out a new lens and comparing it to my trusty 100-400, and was lucky enough to catch this wonderful, almost posed image of our two male lions. A bit soft on focus, but I still love this image!

Hope you don't object to one of your first comments being a small critique. It is a great pic of these lions, but I think it's a little dim. A look at this histogram shows this shot is totally flat on the rightmost 1/2 (the light end) of the image. Doing a levels adjustment stretched out the dynamic range and brought out a lot of wonderful detail in this shot.
