He sold lovely old-fashioned rifles inlaid with stones and seemed rather shy. Definitely quieter than some of the other vendors, but he let me take his picture when I asked.

Rifle vendor! Of course he is. Next to the RPG guy. Buy one, get a grenade free. Only kidding ... I know the kind of rifles you're referring to. They are quite beautiful, and not-quite-useless into the bargain. 14.52? The time?

Reminds me of an old army story. A visiting retired General is drinking in the Officers Club. After many scotches someone asks him when was the last time he had a woman. He scratches his head and says, "It must have been about 1945". The younger officers are aghast. "Good grief, sir," they exclaim, "that's a long time ago!" The General looks at his watch and says, "Not really; it's only 2130 now."

WHOA! What a beautiful character portrait! And you know how much photography like this moves me and touches my soul. Those beautiful wrinkles, and that intense expression. Fabulous!
