A nice photo, and a creative interpretation of the challenge. Colour and focus is good. The border perplexes me... Although borders are valid parts of the competition, they are intended to enhance the photo without changing it. This border, although it very definitely improves the *design* of the photo, arguably *changes* the photo. I'm not sure whether this matches the spirit of the competition. I was unsure whether to add points for the clever design of the border or take points off because it alters the photo itself. Final score 6, I decided to take a point off because others don't use such borders and therefore it could be considered an unfair advantage. |

I can't say much about this, except that I really really like it. It would make an excellent print. The border works well on this. 9 |

The only bulb shot that I liked. Good job. Love the abstract nature of the image. I really appreciate images of common items that make you say what is that.

Superb abstract shot. It almost looks like Japanese alphabet writing on a oriental painting (or maybe I just have vivid imagination :-)) But it looks great! |

That frame really sets this off to a 'T'. Makes me think of oriental lettering (drawn with ribbons of light). |
