Between this and that evil dentist, I cannot look at the results for this challenge. You certainly nailed Pennywise in this. VERY creepy!! |

Truthfully I just saw the movie the first time about a month ago.
Also the first time I went right to the director's cut. I guess clowns can be scary, like this one is. They have never scared me, I laugh too much to take them seriously.
Imitation is flattery, it's not a crime at all. Some suggested I do a retake of my original nightmare challenge photo. It's done here all the time, there can be hundreds of variations.
The one in the movie IT also had fangs and sharp teeth. Good lighting and makeup. The eyes really lure meaning to this photo. I guess between the two of us, dpc has gotten its' "two-cents-worth" of "Penny-wisdom". |

Wow! You did a FANTASTIC job making this clown look haunting and scary. I didn't even realize it was such a no-no to emulate a past ribbon winner. I don't think it should be a no-no. Everyone has their own interpetation and way of making a shot their own. I'm glad no one else seemed to mind either :) Congratulations! This is definitely award-worthy! |

Knew this would do well, Pennywise is a real nightmare. I watched the film about 10 years ago and it really scared me. Creepy and good, Tim. Congrats. |

Clowns have always given me the creeps. This fits well into the challenge. My only suggestion would have been to have the eyes look more evil. |

as crepy as this is, the shadow form the nose distracts me, taking away from the creepiness. |

Clowns creep me out... Nice details on the face, bloodshot eyes, messed up teeth work well... The shallow DOF works well for the shot. The lighting on his face works well to focus on him. I can't tell what the red in the background is but make me think of "evil" for some reason. I think this is a well done image for the challenge. |

Ok .. I have a very strong image in this challenge so far,
as a result, I'd hate to give 10s.
In the same time I can't be dishonest, I am trying to find a single reason not to give a 10 .. and can't find it ..
Perfect lighting, composition, makeup and idea .. btw love the teeth.
Trying to resist pressing 10 .. man I can .. god help me .. 10 :( |
