I have a Carlos Delgado bobble head doll from years ago and the head broke off when it fell from a shelf once.

I wanted to setup a background for the photo and was thinking of ways to create a batter's box for the doll. I grabbed my bathroom rug, spread some dirt on it, and used salt to make the lines. The home plate is made from thick paper. I used a lamp to cast a shadow from the doll.

I don't have a stand yet, so the body is a little out of focus.

Very creative use of the Challenge. One more F-stop increase in Depth of Field I feel would have improved it, but overall good job.

Poor Carlos...what'd he ever do to you? (besides sign with the Mets for about a gabillion dollars).

I like the photo - clever and funny.
