 Straight from camera.. just some crop and auto-contrast.

its a point-and-shoot camera.. set on Sports mode to capture the air show!!

This is my friend Deb.. always smiling and cracking jokes.. i could catch his photo during the Louisville Air Show... the fighter planes were too loud.. I would have liked to avoid the man right behind Deb's head.. but what's valuable is the expression.

Hope the DP gurus will not throw this out of the window

The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured is intent on placing the ear plugs. Technically and artistically, it seems a little dull which may be the lighting conditions in addition to being, well frankly uninteresting. A good entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out.
