This is a pretty path adjacent to one of the seaside homes in North Kingston, Rhode Island. It is around the corner from the home of my son's best friend and it caught my eye as I drove by. You can actually see the ocean from this path but this was a shot I took from a crouched position, eliminating the water view. The sky was very overcast with very little contrast to the water. If I had a more sophisticated set-up I would have captured that view. As it is, I like the peaceful, timeless feel of the white fence and grassy path.
I desaturated the image, adjusted hue/saturation levels for warm grays, cropped a tiny bit of the left edge, did some dodging and burning, very mild guassian noise set to monochrome.
