Not sure who is the subject. He is more in focus but her blurry not so candid face grabs the attention. |

The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's a very well composed image which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out. |

This is quite snapshoty, the composition need a bit of tweaking, the putting the boy's face further up in the frame and getting the whole of the girl in the foreground's face in would have been great (you should try never to chop chins off portraits, tops of heads and parts of foreheads are ok but not chins!). Also I think it would have been better if the girl in the foreground was in sharp focus, and the boy OOF!. Hope this was helpful. |
