 Turned around and snapped this as the boy was trying to figure out how to put his shoe on (he eventually succeeded).

A great shot, I know it is a candid shot, and spontanious, but wow what a great photo it would have been without the distraction of the chairs in the background.

The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's a very well composed image which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out. Rating changed from a 5 to a 6.
