Nice conversion to black/white. Wonder if a closer crop onto the "eye" would make it more dramatic.

considering that this is mainly a texture, i think its overexposed and with lack of contrast

the contrast in this photo is very weird, my eyes hurt when I look at the photo, or maybe you have highlighted the photo too much

I would have loved to see a bit more contrast in the grey.
