Something that one doesn't often see with black dogs - rich and detailed facial expressions. While the image could use a little better composition, the vaguely detailed background compliments subjest. An good image perfectly captured. While technically a solid image, it lacks substantive artistic impact. Still, a worthy entry into the challenge. |

I am not sure about the crop. And the point of focus. It should be the eyes |

A bit contrasty for me. Also the composition might be improved if the dog were walking into the photo instead of out of it. Some feet might have helped a little too. |

I think there are a couple of things that let your picture down: e.g. you cut off the dog's legs, the dog is looking right out of the picture, the focal plane isquite a bit behind the dog. I liked that you kept the background clean and simple. |
