 This is a flower I am growing in a barrel in the backyard. I'm sure it's kin to a daisy but I just couldn't believe how much it looks like the flame of a gas stove when you first turn it on.

That sure does look like a gas ring.
Sorry about lack of participation over the last few days. I've had a surprise visit from my daughter and her younger son, who flew down for my 60th. Kept me busy, but the've gone home again now, and the place feels empty.

I'm betting it's an Arctodis daisy by the petal shape- lovely. yes the entries are dwindling. I think a flower side challenge for May is in order !!!

That's funny, because I thought it was silverware too!

I think I love everything about this. The lighting is excellent. My addiction to Neat Image is twitching, but I think I even like the grain.
