excellent capture. 7 , back to review again , bumping up to 8. The colors and saturation are all excellent. Excellent planning. Probably the downside IMO is that the background is just a little messy for my preference. I would probably have selected the background and reduced highlights further and reduced saturation further to make the fish "pop" more. Just my suggestion |

| The initial rating of 6 on this image was mistaken. On first review, it appeared to be a riot of color without a lot of definition, but on review, the fish just jumps out of the background - it takes a while to see it which is a bit of a problem, but the detail is there - the problem lies in the overly color busy background. A little more bokeh would have helped the eye differentiate between the fish and background. A good entry into the challenge, it's been rerated an 8. Well done. |

| The best part of digital photography is the capturing of all the wonderful colours around us which is what you did in this beautiful picture. Good luck, I cross my fingers it'll ribbon. |
