This tree is a local tourist attraction where I live.
Geraldton is classed as one of the windiest cities in Australia and this sort of tree's branches can't handle the wind so it's adapted itself to be more aerodynamic.
The branches aren't broken they and just so flexible.
I took this photo on a cloudy day with my ISO at 400 and I had my flash on.
The only editing I have done is a little crop and contrast and sharpened and that's about it.
