I lit this using my Studio lights out in the field.
12 Pops @ 600 WS. Does that make 7200 WS? I think not.

Anyway this was pretty exhausting to do.
I had my camera on a tripod in a field, and opened the shutter on Bulb.
I then had to run back to the other side of the road behind the tree, and fire the flash manually from both sides of the tree to get the lighting.

Processing was crop, levels, curves. I then cloned out the flash and some other small lights.

I can't believe this finished with such a mediocre score... Lovely shot, and stands out from the crowd.

Man .. if this is done the way I think it was done,
Strobist style!!
One flash on ground to the right, andother to the left, cross lightingh the tree, I'd guess at full power, it is really wonderful,
Long exposed after that for the sunset.
But honestly I think the tree is abet overexposed, specially the right side, and this is the only reason I am giving it 9 not 10.
Edit '' after thinking again, what the heck, 10 for sure at least for the creativity ;) hope to see you on the front page.
Wonderful by all mean and very well done,

I like the lighting on the tree, and the contrast with the sky is amazing.

Looks like you edited the tree and sky deparately, the tree has a cut and pasted look. The colours don't look natural to me, sorry.

This is awesome. I'm giving it a 10. Do people even give tens anymore on dpc? I guess I don't care. Really nice image.
