 My friend and myself drove to the Leestown road at 7:30AM, and stopped at several locations. Finally we found this tree standing alone..and without a single leaf. I did not take my tripod..hence had to take the photo on a 1/400 shutter speed. I kept the ISO low..because the sun was good. After downloading the photo to my laptop, I realized that the picture could have been brighter, but I am not sure, whether the sky color would have been lost.

Edited this photo in Picasa 3, Straightened the horizon, used auto color, cropped the right side to move the tree to the right of the center.

I would really like to get more comments to make this photo look better than life. I would like to take the shot once more after I receive the comments.

This capture could use a bit more focus and maybe a slight tilt to the left although it may have made your tree look a little lopsided? Also would have cloned out the 2 trees sticking over the horizon on the right.

This tree's going to get out no matter how hard they try to fence it in.

The idea is fine, but I don't understand why did u left the photo to be dark and with low contrast

Very nice take, but it would have looked much nicer if it had been really sharp.

Focus seems soft to me. Composition a bit bland for my taste.
