It was a random Tuesday evening and my buddy asked if I would take a ride with him into Manhattan. Aside from the fact that it was crapy out, I agreed.

We were just about to park up when I looked up and saw this awesome building screaming through the skyline. The building to the left had a very bright orangey light, and with the very hazy sky it created a beautiful effect.

I set the camera and stuck my arm out the window as low as possible and managed to snap this shot.

I did a few things in photoshop but nothing to major.

I really hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do!!! (I blew it up on a poster)

I am guessing that this was hand held as the bottom of the buildings is bit blurry. A tripod would definitely have helped here.

I worked right around there for a few years. I know this building, nice and tall enough to have a hard time fittin in frame, good tilt and sky.

Would have liked it if there was a better focus

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.
