 My third challenge entry, and I realise it's the third close crop of something shot around my home. This is a byproduct of wanting to enter as many challenges as possible, without actually having the time to put a great deal of effort into it.

This is a close up shot of the top of my compost bin. All our fruit and veg food waste goes in here, along with other compostible materials, so it's a great way of recycling for the garden.

Processing wise I'm a novice. Rotate, crop, boost contast and saturation a little, unsharp mask. That was it really.

I don't expect this shot to do very well but I just want to keep submitting whatever I have. This is also my first attempt on a border.

Excellent. People might not realize that compost bins can eliminate the need for fertilizer. Not that I would use fertilizer anyway.
