My first "Money Shot."

Some of you may recognize the title referencing the challenge details language for the "Animals In Motion" challenge. I almost submitted this for that challenge - but I figured between the gratuitous nudity and the questionable shoehorn entry I'd get hammered by the voters.

I know - the nudity will still get me hammered by the voters - but WTH, this was a fun unexpected capture for me.

This was taken at a music festival in Stephenville, Tx. I just happened to be in the audience and noticed this young lady flashing some fellow concert-goers. I walked over with my camera and she proudly displayed her wares. I get a kick out of the two people looking at me from the BG.

Very little post processing (adjustments in ACR, add border, USM).

Post Challenge:

There is something quite liberating submitting a shot you know is going to flop in scoring - and yet knowing it's a good shot. I know others have spoken of this - and now I've experienced it first hand.

I just love the moment captured, here. I love it's "smack you in the face" quality. Thank you everyone who took the time to comment. I especially enjoy the comments of why this shot doesn't work - thank you.

In regard to the release issue, they were also filming a documentary at this music festival. Upon entering the property there were huge legal disclaimer signs warning that your voluntary entrance to the park was also giving legal authority to being filmed.

I'm pretty sure this additional legal disclaimer was unnecessary for me to legally post this shot here in the states.

At least here in Germany that isn't be true, she still has the rights regarding the image of herself (as well as the bystanders) - strictly speaking you would need a model release of all people that can be recognised. On the other hand, she doesn't look like she would care much.

The shooter does not need her permission to put this online. It was taken in the public eye. If anyone can see it, so can we. By the way, nice grab shot.

hmm, I had to stare at this for a while (and not for the obvious reason). Don't see too much that is artistic here and I'm pretty sure that the girl in the background looks like she wants to kick your ass. It also looks like this was done out of blatant drunkeness. That makes me wonder if you got her permission to put this online. A lot to wonder about here, but not to much to really see.

Lol, you brave, the nipple police will be all wound up on this one! My only problem with the shot is there is too much writing on her body, too distracting from what I should be looking at, which is her sunglasses:-)

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.
