 These little white iris are a fun challenge & I love shooting white flowers anyway. I honestly forget where I got this overlay, I copied it from a layer in another comp of mine, but if I could remember I'd offer an ardent thank you. It's a fine texture. I'm in the Flowers side challenge as well as this one, & will probably be double posting unless I end up w/much more free time than I've had up to now. Good to see you all once again. Looking forward to everyone's Best Shots! "D

Well, I will have to look at the psd file to remember what'all I did exactly. But as to what did I use to erase the center--the Erase tool at 50% with a very soft edge. The flowers were shot w/a black umbrella for a BG, so the blue color is from the overlay.

Wow! The contrast is beautiful! I think this looks so much more artistic like this than just straight on as a flower. I can't wait to see more of your white flowers.

I am wondering how you erased the center of your shot and what tool you used...I have been experimenting with mine some...but haven't gotten a good "fade" feel yet...you will find a friend in me as I seem to love the floral shots alot...very, very good
