Wonderful image. I do liek the selective desat nd think it really makes the rest pop really well. Surprised looking at the stats it didn't vote higher. One of my fav's ;-)

Great view and perspective, but I'm not caring for the selective desaturation. For me, it doesn't seem to add anything to the image. The b/w portion is well done, however. Nice and contrasty with lots of detail. |

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way including properly controlled highlights. From an artistic standpoint, it is an interesting image with the broad sweep of the shoreline reaching into the distance providing a sense of depth and dimension. A good entry into the challenge it falls just short of having significant pop and wow factor. |
