You are painting with light. I can almost smell the sunshine. If I was so lucky & this was mine I'd do something about the very sharp edges in the dark brown area of the stem. It makes me start wondering if maybe something was cut & pasted. Not a harmonic thought. |

Very nice image; I'm not sure about the fringing of the background flowers - I think I'd try and correct this in curves (it may have been caused by curves choices). |

Great focus on the center of the flower. There appears to be a little haloing that might be due to oversharpening on the out of focus areas, specifically the ends of the petals, the leaf at the bottom right, and the out of focus flowers on the right. What works for me is to select (very generally) the in focus area that I want sharpened and sharpen that area only. The I use the history brush to fade out the sharpened area as it extends away from the focused area that I want sharpened. You don't have to sharpen the whole image, especially when only a small part of it is focused. |
