not quite happy with this...a bit harsh...but enough mucking around for today :0! It was an experiment to create a rough border. I burnt the edges on a piece of paper and rubbed some charcoal over the page. Then photographed it. I did it in a bit of a rush, but think with a bit more attention could be quite successful. Would love to hear ways other people have tried.

she's adorable! yes! may be a bit harsh for her. the edges remind me of some old nitrates i have that are disintegrating. bummer!!

Love the border. Maybe it would be better suited to an urban shot. She is a doll and I adore her freckles. It's fun to experiment though. That's how we learn. :~)
