| Sometimes an image can be so subtle that it fails to convey what the author was attempting to capture. This is the case in this image - the idea doesn't come across readily even after several viewings. Additionally, the image is a less than successful conversion being rather flat and this effect is enhanced by the extreme distance and bokeh of the subjects in the background. A little more time and thought into how the author wanted to express the idea would have helped clarify the central theme - which even to this point is lost to the reviewer. |
