Challenge: Unusual Viewpoint (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Aperture: f4.0

Shutter: 1/250

Taken with no tripod. I held the camera myself and took this with a +4 diopter of my own eye. The colors are enhanced from adjusting the curves in PS, then I took out a piece of hair that went across my lashes with the stamp tool. I blurred the entire photo except the eye itself, and I also used the cloning tool to remove a tiny corner of eyebrow from the top right.

Can you see the reflection of Downtown LA in my eye? :)

The colour of the iris is beautiful. I also like how the top eye-lashes are reflected in the iris, and look like a soft courtain. So that's downtown LA.

Great minds think alike!!!!

This a nice macro portrait of an eye but I don't see the unusual viewpoint. It is a pretty direct viewpoint, actually. I suppose one could argue that you were unusually close to the subject but that would be stretching the notion, in my opinion.
