| For some reason I find his expression extremely compelling... Something's on his mind, but you're not quite sure what it is. I like photos that make me thing :) This isn't some wow-sunset photo, but it's a technically grate photo (lighting color, etc), and you've captured the spirit of your subject. A well earned 10. |

| Very nice clean portrait, the lighting is good and nicely filled to soften the shadows. I would usually try to meet the tip of the nose shadow with the cheekbone shadow if using this lighting pattern, especially seen as it's most of the way across the top lip but that's a relatively minor thing. The colours work really well and it has a lot of depth and clarity to it. It's a slightly odd crop with it grazing the arm on the right and it's not a wow shot but a very nice clean portrait. Well done |
