thanks for all of your constructive comments and critiques. i really appreciate that you took the time to review and comment your thoughts and suggestions. i'm new to all of this (website and photography), and it seems like this site has a great group of people who appreciate the art. thanks again. |

Good clear shot but the blown out light tends to detract from the scene a little. |

Nice tones, but my eye goes straight to the lamp. I didn't even see the swings for quite some time. Also, I can't say exactly why, but I want to see this shot move... track right... slowly... revealing...something. Wierd. |

If the picture were larger and less glare from the streetlight this would be a great shot. Above agerage as it is. 8 |

Excellant black and white conversion that wasn't fully appreciated on first ratings speed review. On comment review, there is one issue that immediately makes an impression and that is the very slightly overdone white spotlight. That being said, the rest of the image is technically excellant and a good example of the zone system at it's best. Given that the spot light is actually the reason this image has it's own wow/pop factor, the image is rerated from a 6 to an 8. Well done. |
