| Like the effect that the house is surrounded by the impending darkness but the pylons and the house still remain well exposed. Great effort. |

| The use of undersaturated color to almost monotone levels to convey an impression of oncoming dark is extremely effective and properly presents the concept expressed by the title. Rich in detail with no technical issues, this is a perfect demonstration of title, image and presentation coming together to create the perfect image. Should place very high in the challenge. |

| the tones really caught me from first glance and the clouds look like dark scars in the sky. i really like how the additional lighting on the house makes it seem even gloomier |
