Well this is a bummer. Tim this is fantastic, and deserved to score much higher. I think the proximity to the Table Top challenge damaged the "game" aspect. |

OK, you're messing with me! I sat hear wondering what's wrong with me. I could have sworn I saw this in color just a few days ago, but now it's BW!
I have a strong preference for BW, and your entries demonstrate why. I find color gets in the way of the emotion of a given scene. Yes, we can see your face with this version, but the lack of color, and play of shadows deepen the photograph. I gave the color a 6. 10 this time. Now go eat a steak sandwich with your buddy! |

Lighting, position and perspective made this an excellent capture. The blending of the dark t-shirt and back ground add to the mood of the shot. Well executed. |

The lighting on this is superb, and the emotion expressed by the subject is effective. Good Shot. |

Subject form....check. Composition....check....The gradation from black to white....priceless.
Hopefully it is not implied that in marriage there will be days of darkness such as this, lol. Nice shot. |

A repeat of an image from a previous challenge, the same commentary is useful in comparing the two images. However, the black and white treatment is seemingly more effective, but that may be a personal preference for black and white imagery. Well lighted and strongly emotional type of imagery. One suggestion the author might wish to attempt is to tinker a little with subtle monotone color in the tan or blue range - a very light treatment of either might make this a very effective and powerful image. |

lovely light - well captured intimate portrait - it separates itself from the great majority of other portraits in the challenge with a realistic feel |
