| It's like I'm inside looking out into another time. Great the way you framed the old ambulance for that particular feeling. I feel like I'm in old London during Jack the Ripper times. |

through the window
the horse drawn ambulance passes
smelling of blood iron
and antiseptic
the smell wafts
making my nose twitch
and my eyes water
and my tongue dry
another time
another place
I remember the pain
praying for peace

excellent image .. everything works .. the old wooden frame and the image inside it ..
i'm not totally sure wot it is .. it looks like a very old horse drawn carriage with the gas light attached .. i'm saying that coz of the wheel, but i could be totally wrong ..
but basically its not always important to understand or even recognise wots in an image coz this has a wonderful visual appeal .. i feel like i'm looking thru a portal into the past .. i've only got to step thru and i'll be in another time .. i dont think i'll go tho, coz i like it too much here .. !!..:) .. i mean how would i live without my digital camera and my computer .. aghhhhh ..
ps .. i laughed when i read your comment on my fly .. i've been very uninspired lately .. cant seem to come up with anything .. so i fall back on taking photographs of insects and doing mediocre processes on them .. maybe i should spare you all and wait till i get inspired .. :) |
