OK, Somehow if you could of made everything black and white leaving the table cloth and flower in color it would of been great. Debb |

I didn't care for the harsh lighting on this subject. I know this is a portrait of the subject in her environment but the cigarette pack and matches on the table just looked like clutter to me. I thought the colors of her shirt, the table cloth, the flower, and the ruby glass clashed awfully and this might have been nicer in black and white.
I looked at the rest of your portfolio, much of what I thought was quite good, and this shot, IMO does not do it justice. I don't need photos to be pretty (just check my favorites) but this one didn't move me the way it should have.

This is beautiful! Like your poetic title, too. I like the way this is lit. Seems it would be better with a little more cropping from the bottom and left, as is it feels a bit off balance. |

Nice portrait. I like the way the light falls off to darkness at the top. |
