Another excellent use of overlay, and the toning you achieved here really does create an old-world feel. Love the puffs of smoke!

I'm intrigued by their stance, so perfect and "soldier-like." I'm such a costume fan and when you add that terrific layer, it really makes it look authentic.

oh, oh, oh...where was this taken and when...I was at a re-enactment in NY State last summer but it was raining and I couldn't get any shots...just wonderful...really like the antique feel that I get with this...

The overlay really enhances this particular image. I can't imagine it being anything like as convincing without the overlay. Excellent work.
