Another rose from the hospital garden. It was well into the garden bed and I couldn't get all that close, so even though I zoomed in this is cropped fairly heavily. It was raining fine but pretty saturating rain and I was a bit concerned about my camera, so it was being ducked in and out from under my jacket.
Crop, selective colour to tone down that bright green a bit (yes, it was brighter ) a little bit of blur tool, border etc.

Roses and waterdrops seem to go together very well. I wonder if using a polarizer lens would help with this - there seems to be a lot of brightness that could be saturated and toned down with it. Polarizers do wonders for wet environments!

Very clear, the waterdrops really sparkle.

I really like the rain on this but I think there is some missing information in parts of the image; I think I'd probably raise the black point and do a bit of highlight recovery... easy to say here though, without access to the RAW I'm in no position to give a fair critique of the edit. It's just the impression I get of what I would want to do if I were looking at this image in post.

Having said all that, it is a very attractive and well accomplished image.
