Well, I don't suppose you actually could go with the title suggested by  tcguru, but that is exactly how this flower struck me. I'm finding it hard to see it as a flower at all!
However, it is well photographed and the black bg is right for it. |

| As far as a name IMO I would use the common name. But it does look like an octopus missing some arms or an alien. Nicely done! |
