Post challenge:

WOAAAA! top ten eh!? thats pretty awesome for that little chair, he will be over the moon! not that he understands what i say anyways! :)

this was a very simple set up and process, i stood atop a 10 foot ladder, put on the wide angle, and shot.

Thank you all so much for the votes and comments.

I was looking through the horror gallary this time and found this one. I tried this once but the rest of the scene was too busy. You did a great job of keeping it simple.

This is pretty cool. I like how the texture of the carpet shows up. The blown window fits well too. Good entry.

Strong geometrical shot. Though the chair is but a small part of the image, the framing and perspective make it a solid subject. Great tones.

Very curious sense of depth and detail - very effective treatment with the blank window space and feature less wall. An odd viewpoint which works well in context with the impression given. A little too tall, the effect of looking down into a V shape isn't as strong as it would be if the dividing line were at exactly half of the image. Still, a very intriguing effect. The monotone treatment is also effective and while that chair highlights are a little over done, the image as a whole works very well.

very interesting. I like the feel of the floor, but i would have used a different angle and not have bentered it so much

Enjoyable simplicity and unusual vantage point make this one of my top 10 for the challenge.

I love the centering and simpleness of this shot. Nicely converted with the sepia. 8
