deep inside an aqua shell
are the secrets
we can't tell

My friend has birds' nests in every hanging basket on her back deck. Did a subtle texture layer. (I usually can't write poems for my own stuff but I squeaked this little ditty out)

lol .. your poetry is perfect .. i've told you that i'm not into poetry that much, but i love yours ..
i love this little nest photograph too .. dont those little eggs look comfy ..!!
reminds me of a nest we had in spring in a jasmanoide bush near the house .. it was from a noisy minor/honeyeater bird .. was the three eggs hatched .. they were only a few days old and one morning i went out to check how they were going and there was the nest on the ground .. babies gone .. probably some predator type bird ate them .. life can be hard .. but i honestly believe that when its over here its another beginning .. :)

Lovely colours and lighting, and a real sense of depth to this and manage to convey a feeling of intimacy as we peer into the nest to see these eggs.
