 Another case of having a great idea but not being able to get it just right though am hoping it scores ok and reckon it will have more than one validation request.

I'm almost blind without my glasses so shooting this in a pitch black room wasn't as hard as first thought. I set the cam on Bulb with a 10 second timer, got into position in the front of the lens, tripped the shutter then turned the light off then set the 580 off held in my right hand. In the dark I then crawled to the end of the room and leant against a chair covered with black cloth and triggered the test flash with my left hand before crawling back to the cam and closing the shutter.

Editing was little more than a large crop (used the fisheye for dof), converting to B&W then a little levels, D&B and sharpening/NI.

Interesting that you only had three comments during the challenge. I am guessing that most people that asked "How did he do this?" sent a validation request to SC! :)

Certainly one of the most imaginative, if not the most imaginative image in this challenge. Surprised it didn't score higher. But then am I? I don't understand the voting so probably I'm not surprised.
