 This is a learning experience. I know there's no wow factor and it's bland(except the light is nice), though I tried to create interest with the fence angle. The sky is dull. Unsure about the level of saturation. Just curious what the score would be so I can improve any future landscapes. I bought a polarizer and ND filters for next time. Hoping for some useful comments. My guess is mid five's.

Post: Well this scored alittle worst than I thought it would. :) If I had entered this one instead maybe I would have received a slightly better score. I find it more appealing, but I processed it too late:


I think the image I submitted looks better with a texture anyway as the texture brings more interest to the scene:

Lesson: don't have any doubts about your image before entering as voters will probably confirm them. Wish I had gotten more constructive comments though.

Oh well, on to the next one with a little more knowledge!

Beautiful! Your frame on the image works well. I really like the bland sky with the atmospheric haze in the upper left. This composition is excellent as well. Lots of energy. GREAT SHOT!

square bales!!! These are the kind of bales of hay that I used to help my dad with every summer!!! for whatever reason they have gone to the round ones now....I can remember driving the tractor and feeling the "hay dust" all over me...
