 I think this is the Willamette River in Portland Oregon.

that is SOOOOO dramatic how you pulled all that great detail and complexity out of a pretty darn dull original shot

It's amazing to me that the cropped version seems to have more depth than the original. Obviously due to the processing of course, but it's still amusing. Beautiful colors, lovely depiction of my favorite city. :)

Thank you so much for the information! I was just visiting there last year for my neice's wedding. I loved Portland. I loved seeing my family even more :-)

Nice photo, nice processing, nice vantage point. Yes, that is the Willamette River with three of the city's nine bridges (front to back; Hawthorne Bridge, Morrison Bridge, and Burnside Bridge) crossing the river in the image.
